How would you make a strwberry pie using strawberry filling and the graham crust?

Here's a recipe for the crust, when the crust is cool add the strawberry filling.





GRAHAM WAFER CRUST

Yield: 1 Servings



16 Graham crackers; 1 1/2 c

1/2 c Sugar

1/2 c Butter;softened

1 ts Flour

1 ts Cinnamon; optional



Finely crush the wafers then combine them with the remaining

ingredients and blend thoroughly. Press a bit more than half the

mixture firmly to the bottom and sides of a well buttered pie plate.

Sprinkle the remaining crumbs over the meringue that cover your cream

pie. Bake in a slow oven - 300F - until lightly browned about 20

minutes.

This is an easy one...Take 1pkg cream cheese

1 16 oz whip cream

2 cups confection

sugar

Mix all of this together and spread into crust

Then top with strawberry pie filling and chill...

"Cherry Cream Cheese Pie"



1 graham cracker redi-crust

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese; softened

1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk

1/3 cup lemon juice

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling; chilled



In large mixer bowl, beat cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in condensed milk until smooth; stir in lemon juice and vanilla. Pour into prepared crust; chill 3 hours or until set. Top with desired amount of pie filling before serving. Refrigerate leftovers.

then fill pie with filling already prepared

return to oven for 15 min.

Reply:You can purchase ready-made graham cracker crusts. That cuts half the work and time out of your recipe and you can make several at one time.

CRUST:



1 3/4 c. fine graham cracker crumbs (about 20)

1/4 c. finely chopped walnuts (opt.)

1/2 c. butter, melted

1/2 tsp. cinnamon



FILLING:



3 well-beaten eggs

1/2 c. sugar

1/2 tsp. almond extract

2 c. dairy sour cream

2 (8 oz.) cream cheese

2 tsp. vanilla

1/4 tsp. salt



GLAZE (opt.):



2 c. fresh strawberries

3/4 c. water

2 tbsp. cornstarch

1/2 c. sugar



Make crust and press to sides and bottom of 9 inch springform pan. Sides should be 1 3/4 inches high.

FILLING: Combine eggs, cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla, almond extract and salt. Beat until smooth. Blend in sour cream. Pour in crust. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or just until set. Chill thoroughly 4 to 5 hours. Filling will be soft.



GLAZE: Crush 1 cup strawberries. Add water and cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Cook and stir until mixture is thick and clear. Cool room temperature. Halve remaining berries. Place atop chilled cheesecake. Pour glaze over. Chill 2 hours.



Serves 10.



EASY FRESH BERRY PIE



Pie:



1 prepared graham cracker pie crust

raspberries, peaches, or strawberries



Rinse and cut up strawberries or peaches. Pour into pie crust, until completely full.



Filling:



1 cup sugar

3 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch

1 cup water



Bring to boil, constantly stirring, until clear and thick.

Stir in 3 tablespoons flavored Jello. Stir until dissolved. Pour over fresh fruit in pie. Refrigerate util firm.



Top with Cool Whip. In the center of the pie, add a piece of the fruit you've used, that way others will know what type of pie it is.

Reply:never use fruit filling for any pie . if your going to make a pie use fresh fruit or let it go. do you have any idea what they put in the can fruit filling.
Reply:You should use regulor pie crust, a strawberry pie needs to have a top,and bottom crust. you cant make a top crust with gram crackers. and, the pie filling will not hold up in a gram-cracker crust. They are ok for cream-cheese or something that doesent require cooking. I do all the cooking at my house, I know.
