Why is my strawberry plant not growing ?
Probably because it's immature. If you just planted it then it takes it a year or so to really produce. Just make sure you don't over fertilize and water.
Reply:It depends upon if you have a June bearing or an ever bearing plant(s). Ignore all the leaves and flowers from when you first put it in the ground. The new growth will come from the middle of the plant with new leaves. June bearing will grow and flower and the flowers will become the fruit in about 3-4 weeks or so from the time they start growing. Ever bearing will do the same but only produce a few small berries at first. They will then start growing again and produce more flowers and fruit right up until the first frost. Stop fertilizing them.Once every couple of weeks is enough.
Reply:Cala, patence and love. Your plants need those two things, and the basics. I may not know the world about gardening, but i have a strawberry plant too. It is an immature plant. Don't use too much fertilizer, and i wouldn't water it too much with all the rain we've been getting. Sometimes a strawberry plant wont produce the first year. Normally the plant will produce in June or July because it is a summer plant. If your plant doesn't have flowers on it by mid June, it probably wont bear this year.
Reply:Maybe you have been watering it too much.I also

think you should look at the company of fertilizer you use.

My opinion of the best fertilizer is Miracle Grow.

And about the water. You could also be watering it too less.

So you should watch how you are watering it.
