When is strawberry picking season?

I don't want to miss it this year!!! When is the right time to go picking? I'm in Michigan!
When is strawberry picking season?
Here in Northwestern PA they start around mid June. The season doesn't last long so be quick and don't miss it.
Reply:Your growing season should be similar to mine. I am in Ontario. We pick mid to late June. You should start checking with the picking farms by the first of June.

Reply:hmm I was thinking august but maybe I'm thinking of something else. its probably late june to early july depending on whether or not it warms up outside soon.
Reply:When the berries get ripe, probably about July 4, in Washington State. In colder areas later in the year.
