What are "hulled strawberries"? I want to make a strawberry filling for a cake and it said to use hulled?

that is when the top part of the strawberry is removed and then you can slice the strawberry with out the hull in it

The green tops are taken off.
Reply:Cut the green stem off of them. And, wash them before you stem them, not after.
Reply:Hulling is just taking off the stalk, the rest of the green "frill" at the top and usually also a little of the central white core. If you can twist them off by hand, do it like that. If they're a little firmer, then use a small knife to take the top off.
Reply:It just means that you take out the green bit (if it's on them) that would have attached them to the plant.
