Why are the leaves on my strawberry plants turning brown?
ummm, mine are watered and I bought them recently AND the leaves are tuning brown. Any ideas? Report It
Reply:They die.
Reply:I don't know how long you have had them, but they need alot of water. Also if they are in the sun all the time, they could be burning. If you have had them many years, they could just be old, and need to be replaced. Good luck.
Reply:because either to much sun to little water or bubs are affecting it in the ground. i learned plants get diseases to.
Reply:u need to water it because its drying
Reply:its dieing get new plant look after it better next time
Reply:If your leaves are turning brown, don't fret...leaves wilt first, then die when they have no moisture left (brown). Strawberry plants are fruit plants as everyone knows, and plants which produce plump, juicy sugarbumps have needs. This one in particular needs PLENTY of sunshine, frequent light watering, and breathing room (meaning nice, fluffy soil...if it's all packed together, try to poke holes down in it for aeration. And extra plant vitamins never hurt either ;)
