Under good growing conditions, gauva can fruit in a year from seed although the fruit may not be full sized. Guava is cinsidered to be mature in about three years from seed at which time it should be bearing normally. I've had 1-year old guava bear fruit while still in pots.

From what I've read, that only time will help your seedling-grown tree to fruit.my friend baought dwarf grafted citrus trees last spring. The tallest is about 4 feet tall, and they all have fruit.

Virtually all citrus plants are grafted. grafted trees will begin to bear fruit in a few years (Meyer’s Improved lemons are unusual in that they will bear heavily even when young). But ungrafted trees will take from 1-5 years to bear fruit. Citrus will live for decades, so they aren't in any rush to mature fruit. Even when you get fruit, it can take weeks or months to ripen, and can then hang on the tree or bush another few months before finally falling off.

Plant selection depends on specific needs or preferences. There are three types of strawberries. June bearing strawberries produce one large crop of berries each year with the production lasting 2 to 3 weeks. June bearing strawberries are the large, traditional berries found in home gardens. Early, mid, or late season varieties are available within the realm of June bearing strawberries. The plants send out runners promising a good harvest next year. Ever-bearing strawberries produce 2 to 3 harvests throughout the growing season. The berries tend to be smaller in size and the plants send out fewer runners. Day neutral strawberries flower and bear fruit continuously throughout the growing season. Like ever-bearing the berries are smaller, but the plants produce more runners.

best of luck
