I have strawberry jelly cubes and half a bottle of rum, can I make jello shots? How?

Make the jelly up with boiling water as usual, but only use 2/3 of what the packet tells you. When all the cubes have melted - top up the mixture with as much rum as you like and then put in the fridge ready for party time.

1 cup liquor



if you add too much liquor ( everyone wants to), they will not set up properly. Best just to make extra for those who want to indulge heavily.
Reply:no, get a pack of jello, it says to use 2 cups of water, so either use one cup of water and one cup of rum or 2 cups of rum, depending on how strong you want them, put them in the freezer and in about 2 hours your good to go. Dont use jelly, gross!!

break up the cubes into a jug, stick it in the microwave untill all the cubes have melted,

top it up to about a pint with the rum (can split it with water if you don't want to make them too strong) then divide up into lil bowls or shot glasses etc to stick them in the fridge.
Reply:Yes add the jelly to a small about of hot water just enough to melt them then pour in the rum an put it in the fridge have fun!!! or buy some jelly baby's an drop them into the rum leave them in the fridge over night an they are great for a party as they soak up the rum or vodka which ever you like
Reply:If the cubes are already made, no you can't. You have to make the "jello shots" with a box of jello, dissolve in 1 cup hot water and replace the one cup of cold water with 1 cup of vodka. Try the new pina colada jello, they would probably be very good made with rum.
Reply:Just make the jelly as normal but take out a bit of the water and replace with the booze (depending on how strong you want it).



Alternatively, dont use any water and all booze - LETHAL
Reply:yuo will need to boil the rum first and then add water befor making the jelly it takes about twice as long for it to set
