Growing strawberries in the NorthEast--Is " Strawberry Pot" necessary if you are not growing in the ground?
Not at all, in fact they can be very problematic. The best way is to grow them in the ground. Pots can dry out, become very hot or very cold, etc. The ground is relatively stable and cools/heats gradually.
