First you have to define what is the origin of these feelings. What is the reason of nausea and headache. As I use to say, one size does not fit all in medicne. So, what is good for you, maybe does not have the same effect to me.

Check out the link that the first answerer has given to you.

Various therapeutic properties have been attributed to green tea, like

- cancer prevention

- antioxidant applications

- obesity/weight control

- intestinal dysbiosis and infection

Although, as I know, the FDA in a recent posting refering to a revision of the existing bibliography of all these, has denied that drinking big amounts of tea can have a THERAPEUTIC EFFECT.

But nobody can deny the BENEFICIAL EFFECT.

If you want my opinion on that, I continue drinking green tea because I like it and I prefer this to coffee, without waiting for miracles.

Notice that

- 5 oz. cup of tea = 40mgr. of caffeine

- 5 oz. cup of coffe = 80 - 115mgr. of caffeine

So, if you like light beverages you can prefer taking tea to coffee. If you feel anxious at this moment of your life, you should avoid to take any beverages containing cafeine, including the Cola beverages. Go to a specialized shop, ask them and buy another herbal infusion.

Evenmore, I believe on the beneficial effect of polyphenols and according to the bibliography a cup of green tea contains 50-100 mgr. of polyphenols, depending on species, harvesting variables and brewing methods.

The antioxidant effect of polyphenols is 100 times stronger to that of vitamine's C.

I will stop it here, if not the posting will get boring and will have no sense.

You did a second posting describing your symptoms(in brief).

This means that you didn't find any help from the answers given here. Try having a professional consultation, maybe these are symptoms of pregnancy, upset stomach or you have a (simple) virus infection.

Reply:Green tea helps concentration cos it contains polyphenols. It boosts energy and also refreshing. It also reduces diarrhea and upset stomachs but best to drink teas after food.

Reply:Raspberry leaf tea is very good if your baby is supposed to be being born but doesn't want to pop out. Avoid it in early pregnancy. Green tea contains antioxidants that are good at mopping up free radicals and keeping cancer away. Normal tea does this too. All the others don't deserve the name of "tea" they are just smelly fruit infusions and should be banned.
Reply:tea is high in anti-oxidants, which is good for you. ginger tea is good for settling an upset stomach. chamomile, which is an herbal tea is also good for stomach problems and headaches. some green tea is suppose to help if you want to lose weight (I believe it depends on what type of tea).
