You need the bits of strawberry to show off the smoothness of the peanut butter. It is a nearly perfect combination with a glass of milk the perfect, inexpensive, delicious, not just for kids meal. I still enjoy a peanut butter and jam sandwich.

I grew up in the small town where WELCH'S was started. They specialise in purple concord grapes and that is the kind of jelly we ate in our pbj's.
