Dyeing dark blonde hair to strawberry blonde?

I have naturally ash blonde hair with dyed light highlights. I have always wanted to dye it light strawberry blonde, but I am worried it will turn bright orange! Could a stylist dye my hair strawberry blonde or does it go against the laws of hair chemistry? Thanks!

Most don't.

In order to do that, from my experience, is you might have to stumble into the world of hair dye on your own.

You might have to bleach your hair, lighter than the strawberry blond, let it heal for a few weeks, then dye to the strawberry blond.



Because, one thing I do know, is it's very unlikely to find light colors that hold over darker colors.



Sally's Beauty Supply stores are best to get the products to do this, the staff is always good to answer questions.



The reason I would say you might have to do this on your own, is most salons will straight up refuse to do that much damage to your hair follicles.

I might be wrong.

But from what I've done to my own hair, and working on my friends, this is usually how it goes.
