these plants are 5 years old now and they get flowers every year but never any fruit, whats the problem?
How do I get fruit from strawberry plants?
It's possible that with a small number of plants the bees just never pollinate the flowers. Strawberries require bee pollination.
Reply:You need at least 2 plants next to each other for them to reproduce.
Reply:strange, i guess you already do this, but water them like mad, they love plenty of it, also use a little paint brush to tickle the flowers to transfer the pollen to help it along, seems there could be a shortage of bees around maybe... :)
Reply:Here is a site about how to plant strawberry's and different problems:

Reply:hi
most strawberry plants fruit production reduces dramatically after the first 3 years and you do not need more than one plant but perhaps the strawberry plants is not strawberry plant after all? I'd buy some new plants
