Strawberries are in season here now. You may be able to get some from a local grower. Advertise on Craigslist "wanted- strawberry plants" someone will answer.
Reply:You sure can! They had loads at my local Homebase on Saturday and were selling off the slightly weedy looking ones for about 49p. All they needed was potting up and some water!
