The bartender at the restaurant I used to work at made some excellent ones using thawed frozen strawberries. Not sure exactly how many strawberries to add... I would just start out with a cup of milk in a blender. Add strawberries until the color looks right (a little darker than desired because the ice creme will dilute it). Whip untill smooth. Add 2 scoops of ice cream and whip again until the ice cream is no longer "chunky". Not too long or the shake will get too thin...



She sometimes added a little Amaretto too...



You could of course use strawberry syrup or Quick instead of the frozen strawberries...
Reply:1 banana - 1/2 pint milk - 2/3 big scoops of ice cream - handful of strawberries. teaspoon of crunchy peanut butter.

1/2 c. milk

1 c. vanilla or strawberry ice cream

1 tbsp. honey

1 c. strawberries

2 tbsp. crushed ice



Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until thick. Serves 2.
